REM to Montreal Airport: Opening Date and Route

There is no REM service to Montréal-Trudeau airport yet. The station is under construction and is operated by Aéroports de Montréal, not by the REM itself.

When does it open?

The opening is expected in 2027. ⚠️ No official date has been published — anyone giving you a day and a month is guessing.

How long will it take?

The REM gives about 25 minutes between the airport and downtown once the branch opens.

Getting there in the meantime

Until it opens, the airport is reached by bus and by road, not by rail. The nearest REM stations are on the existing branches — see the REM page.
